BALI, BEACH, AND SANDS - JUNE 2016

A year ago, on June 2016 we decided to bring our entire family for a holiday in Bali. At that time, my husband's cousin was also planning to organize a wedding with her fiance in Seminyak. I realized that my father promised to bring my mom to Bali, but he died earlier before he can fulfill his promise. Bali is a great place for family vacation, but when you bring your entire family members, that means you need to be economical. So, we decided to take a cheap flight, which is Lion Air. This was the first air travel for the children, Jose and Jonathan, and we were very excited. So did my mom who has not taken air travel for many years.

I thought that the boys will be thrilled once they are up in the air, but...i was wrong. Jonathan was sleepy on my lap and Jose busy studying the pictures in the flight safety card. He did not like me taking a snapshot of him ;)

We arrived in Bali around 2 PM. Here my mom, she was so cheerful and asked to take picture in this Billboard :)

Since the boys were exhausted, or boring from the flight. We headed directly our Hotel in Sunset Road, which was Sunset Residence Condotel (http://www.sunsetresidencebali.com/). It was value for money. The hotel has 2 bedrooms, kitchen with its utensils, and near to market or restaurants/fast food chain. The hotel even has several collections of DVDs that you can borrow for in room entertainment.

The cost for staying in this hotel is IDR 2,1 million for 2 nights. A day after our arrival, we decided to go to Pirates Bay at Nusa Dua (see http://thebaybali.com/pirates-bay-bali/). We ate in a Gazebo and the boys were wondering around the play ground and in the upfront beach.

After half day playing under the spot of sun bright, we returned to the Hotel. We took several outside meals from fast food restaurant. I suggest for those who want to stay in Sunset Residence Condotel, buy some eggs, beef, noodle, and bread. Since the hotel does not provide breakfast or other kind of meals.

In our last day at Nusa Dua, we went to Kuta Beach Walk. We were planning to move to Seminyak which was closer to the wedding venue. Here some snaps from our sightseeing inside the mall :)

My father in law with his wife and the entire families stayed in a rented house. We went to visit them and ended up playing in a small pool inside the house.
Granpa taught Nathan how to swim. The boys were swimming in naked...since we did not bring their clothes

Granpa then dropped us in Umalas Hotel Residence (see http://www.umalasresidence.com/). We stayed there for a night and it cost us IDR 1,6 million for 2 Bedrooms Superior. the food taste bad and only few food vendor or mini market can be found around the hotel. However, the hotel is cozy and clean. The kids loved it.
My hubby just loves to throw his kids in the air :)
Now, time to party...the venue for Vira and Giu Wedding was in Phalosa Wedding Chapel..They have non-stop bar that served wines and apperitives...Do not worry, we did not get drunk and decided to return earlier.
